Want to be the coolest, craftiest mama in the world? Why not whip up a few of these adorable Stick Horses for your kiddo’s next birthday?
I found this adorable project on my new favorite blog Modern Parent Messy Kid and she found the tutorial at Light Blue Grey. The mama blogger behind Light Blue Grey made these as party favors for her daughter’s birthday! So crafty and so cute. I may not be whipping them up for all of Bella’s guests at her 3rd birthday but I may make her one up as a birthday gift!

This vintage suitcase doll house from Hart and Sew is such a fabulous DIY project. Really the possibilities are endless, let you creativity soar. I love this project for several reasons.
1. The vintage feel you get from the old suitcase.
2. That it is a classic toy that allows your little one to use their imagination.
3. That dolly and her clothes can all be packed easily away for storage or for a weekend get away.
*Sigh*. Love. :)

A few months ago a friend of mine told me that she made homemade yogurt from a recipe in the book DIY Delicious. She claimed that it was so easy. I put it in the back of my head, then I just saw this recipe for homemade yogurt on Dinner with Julie. It truly does look so easy. All you need is a pot, a jar, a towel, some milk and a tablespoon of plain yogurt (your first time store bought afterwards a tablespoon from your previous batch).
I am going to give this recipe a try this weekend.

Oh this sewing studio collage from This Is Kelly Mccaleb’s Blog makes me super happy! Great inspiration for future sewing studio spaces. :) I am very blessed to have a sewing studio but it is a small room. Oh the things I will do when we one day more from our townhouse to a house!

I recently found and fell in love with this DIY Laptop Sleeve Tutorial on The Cottage Home. I love that you can measure your laptop and make a completely customizable laptop Sleeve for whatever size laptop you have. I have a netbook and it can be hard to find small laptop sleeves I like.
This was my first attempt at doing the pattern. Not perfect and there are things that I will change next time around, I think I will use colored plastic snaps instead of the fabric covered buttons but all and all I was pretty happy with how it turned out. :) I can’t follow a pattern to save my life, I’m all about drawing up my own patterns and templates so tutorials work great for me.
To see more of my sewing (I design custom shirts) visit me on Lilikoi Lane on Facebook.
